Honeywell Offers to Help Pilots Avoid Runway Overruns
Honeywell has developed a software upgrade to its Runway Awareness and Advisory System that will alert pilots if their approach to an airport is not within a safe tolerance envelope of speed and glide path. Microsoft Corp has announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire Greenfield Online Inc, owner of Ciao GmbH, one of Europe's leading price comparison, shopping, and consumer reviews sites.
