Nokia Connection with E72, 5530 XpressMusic, 3710 fold
As
Nokia has been consistently dumping more mobile models in the market, at
the Nokia Connection event held in Singapore today (June 15), the
company announced a number of devices.
Recently, the company rolled out its Nokia Life Tools solution in India.
It said the solution will be available on the newly launched Nokia 2323
classic and Nokia 2330 classic devices, and will be later expanded to
other Nokia devices.

At
today's event, it
unveiled the Nokia E72, its latest full QWERTY smartphone, which offers
mobile email and instant messaging experience. Users will be able to set
up instant messaging (IM) accounts provided by Nokia Messaging direct
from the homescreen. They will also be able to connect to IM accounts
such as Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, Ovi, etc. The Nokia E72 is
expected to begin shipping late in the third quarter of 2009.
Last
month, Nokia revealed that its Ovi Store is available globally to an
estimated 50 million Nokia device owners. It covers over 50 Nokia
devices including the forthcoming device, N97. Users can download games,
videos, podcasts, productivity tools, web and location-based services.

Nokia
also announced the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, a compact XpressMusic device
that uses a touch interface for accessing people and content. The
'scrolling' Contacts Bar provides direct access to 20 people and their
latest conversations and media updates. The homescreen also features one
touch shortcuts to content and popular social networks, like Facebook
and MySpace. It’s expected to begin shipping in the third quarter of
2009.
And it
introduced Nokia 3710 fold. Together with the range of Ovi services,
Nokia brings mobile Internet experiences with the device. The Nokia 3710
fold is expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2009.
