Match.com, a leading online dating company, has announced the availability of a free application on the Apple App Store. It’ll bring the popular features of the Match.com online experience to the iPhone and iPod touch.  

"Match.com has transformed the way people meet and connect, and our new iPhone and iPod touch app provides members new opportunities to create even more connections," said Greg Blatt, CEO of Match.com. 

The application for provides members with the ability to communicate with others wherever they go. Members can edit their profile from their device and upload photos to their Match.com profile.  

Leveraging built-in location-based technology, the application has an opt-in feature that gives members the ability to check out other singles in their area, making setting up a first date easy.
