ASUS Notebook Targets Corporate Elite

By promising integrated security, the B80A notebook is being positioned as a must-have for corporate users. It comes with a 14.1-inch widescreen, normal features, and stylish looks. You can also connect it to large-screen TVs and multichannel audio systems with a single cable. 

The B80A is built on Intel Centrino 2 Processor Technology, and promises high-speed storage and memory. Its support for 7,200 rpm SATA hard disk drives will allow users to have desktop-like speed when accessing files. The B80A's connectivity—including Draft-N wireless and Bluetooth capabilities—as well as the built-in high resolution webcam, will enable video conferencing.  

It has built-in fingerprint reader and TPM-level security that will protect files and data from unauthorized access, without compromising convenience and user-friendliness, says the company. 

According to ASUS, the B80A is designed with usability in mind. Its 14.1-inch screen provides a good display area while maintaining a highly-portable form factor. It’s also built for reliability, sporting a spill-proof keyboard that protects against spills of up to 50 cc of liquid. The keyboard's built-in LED lighting makes it easy to work under dimly-lit conditions in one's bedroom, while back at the office. An optional docking station provides access to peripherals. 

Its built-in HDMI interface offers a ready connection to large-screen TVs and multichannel audio systems via a single cable.
