Nuance Hires Sumit for Mobile Marketing in India

Based in Delhi, Sumit Goswami will join the Nuance Communications’ mobile global marketing group (Europe, Japan, China/APAC, and India) to head the India operations. He’ll oversee marketing of embedded and connected products for the speech and imaging solutions company. 

According to a company statement, Sumit joins Nuance with over 12 years of sales and marketing experience.  Prior to joining Nuance, he was with Tanla Solutions, heading business development for India, APAC, Middle East, and Africa, and was responsible for mobile carrier relationships across the four territories.  

He has also worked with Megasoft, Hutchison (now Vodafone), and Reliance Infocomm (now Reliance Communications) in various marketing roles.   

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian National Institute of Technology at Tiruchirappalli (Tamil Nadu).  

“Sumit Goswami brings in-depth marketing experience and will lead regional strategies in India and further drive speech VAS applications and mobile vernacular text messaging, as well as our new mobile search applications,” said Ray K.
