Mobile, a leading publisher of mobile games, says it’ll deliver 30
titles on BlackBerry App World. It’s a new online destination for
consumers to find applications designed for BlackBerry smartphones from
Research In Motion (RIM).
BlackBerry App World launched in the United States, Canada, and the
United Kingdom on April 1, and provides
BlackBerry smartphone users with
easy access to games, social networking, and productivity applications
on-the-go.
Today,
many players from the entertainment and mobile markets are joining hands
to offer their mobile games to consumers. Now you can have baffling
brain teasers to games based on Hollywood blockbusters right under your
thumb. Some of these
mobile games are listed under the
My Techbox Online Market Intelligence Series.
While
iPhone and some
Nokia devices are already being used
actively by mobile gamers, of late even Android
has attracted attention of
game vendors. Gameloft has announced a line-up of
20 games for Android-powered devices such as the
T-mobile G1. Through Android Market, an open marketplace,
Gameloft is offering the games with better graphics and gameplay
capabilities. The offerings range from Derek Jeter Pro Baseball 2009 to
Oregon Trail and CSI:Miami.
Now,
BlackBerry phones, supported by BlackBerry App World, also want to
participate aggressively in the gaming arena.
“BlackBerry App World will provide users with a one-stop-shop to find
all of their favorite applications,” said Jill Braff, senior vice
president of global publishing, Glu Mobile. “We look forward to
providing a quick and easy way for consumers to easily access games for
their BlackBerry smartphones.”

that will be available at launch include Brain Genius 2, Madagascar:
Escape 2 Africa, Monsters vs. Aliens, Super K.O. Boxing!, Transformers
