IZEAFest ’08: Call for Bloggers
When tailored events are being arranged for bloggers, means bloggers are big. And now they’re being invited by IZEA, a social marketing network, to participate in IZEAFest ‘08, an event for bloggers. This is being held September 11- 13th in Orlando. Bloggers, online marketers, and social media experts are expected to converge.

But why bloggers are coming under spotlight, now? IZEA explains that blogging is growing at an active pace, with more than 175,000 new blogs appearing every day. Bloggers update their blogs regularly to the tune of over 1.6 million posts per day, or over 18 updates a second, according to Technorati, which tracks and indexes blogs.

As blogosphere blooms, bloggers are increasingly monetizing their blogs. Among other aims, IZEAFest will help bloggers know more about advertisers’ needs.
